The Art and Science of Medical Intuition

Medical Intuition, is a skill either inborn, or acquired by psychics and energy healers to assess the energetic health, or un-health of their clients. Medical Intuition is performed by scanning a client”s body while using a variety of super-sensing techniques to receive intuitive impressions.

Super-sensing Techniques Used by Medical Intuitives

Super-sensing, goes above and beyond, the capability of the human’s natural senses, and is accessed by several techniques, affectionately known as the “Clairs.”

• Clairvoyance (clear seeing) – Seeing symbols in their mind’s eye, using 3rd eye seeing.
• Clairaudience (clear hearing) – Hearing words, phrases, or songs in their mind.
• Claircognizance (clear knowing) – Knowing something, without any foreknowledge.
• Clairsentience (clear feeling) – Feeling the Client’s pain, or emotions in their own body. Or feeling sensations in their hands (heat, tingling, pulsing, cold, or a fleeting pain).
• Clairalience (clear smelling) – Smelling a scent of something, that’s not present.
• Clairgustance (clear tasting) – Tasting something, when nothing is in their mouth.

All of the above impressions, are Medical Intuition, if they’re received during a Medical Intuitive, or healing session, and inform of a medical issue existing inside a client’s body.

Some Medical Intuitives and healing practitioners predominately experience one type of Clair during a session, but most receive a combination of these super-sensing impressions.

But Where Does the Intuitive Information Come From?

The next question is, where does the information received by the above Clair techniques come from? This requires a brief explanation of the “Akashic Records,” an ancient Sanskrit term, meaning, “information imprinted within the ethers.”

The records of the Akashic Records, refer to the information about everyone, and everything that has ever existed in the past, exists now, or will exist in the future. This information is held in energetic form, and forever stored in the Akasha, the energy field surrounding all of existence.

Skilled individuals, with help from the Clairs, can tap into this Mother Lode of stored information, at anytime, to access the information they desire about any person or topic.

The Science of Medical Intuition

Science now knows that everything in the Universe is energy, including the human body, and everything contained within it. Illnesses have an energetic frequency that is broadcast within the human energy field. A competent Medical Intuitive can pick up the frequency of an illness in a client’s body. And with their super-sensing skills they can psychically diagnose it.

It may seem fantastical, but Medical Intuitives are like human CAT Scan, X-Ray, and EEG machines. The difference is, Medical Intuitives pick up impressions about illness that are more symbolic in nature, yet still point to the same conclusion, as the more precise scientific diagnostic equipment.

Nonetheless, Medical Intuition is not a replacement for, but rather a complement to traditional medical diagnostic methods performed by licensed medical providers.

If you are wondering why someone would contract with a Medical Intuitive for a reading, the answer to this question is varied.

Many Medical Intuitive reading clients haven’t had a true diagnosis nailed down by traditional scientific diagnostics. And it follows that with no medical diagnosis, they receive no Western medical treatment.

Another reason for requesting a Medical Intuitive reading, is to get a head’s up about health concerns that may be coming up for the client. Then they can take steps to get ahead of it.

Traditional Medicine’s diagnostic machines are stellar at seeing what has already manifested in the body, but can’t see what hasn’t yet manifested. Medical Intuitives can see, past, present, and possible future outcomes.

Medical Intuition During In-Person Reiki Sessions

Remarkably, health issues put off a frequency that can be picked up with the hands as heat, tingling, pulsing, cold, or a fleeting pain. Therefore, prior to an in-person session, Practitioners of Reiki, a Japanese energy healing modality, scan their client’s body with their hands, from head to toe while “listening with their hands,” for disturbed energy, (Byosen).

It takes some practice for a new Reiki Practitioner’s hands to develop enough energy sensitivity to receive intuitive impressions. However, experienced Practitioners will consistently detect illness with their hands or by seeing, hearing, knowing, or feeling a message about their client’s health.

When Practitioners sense an intuitive impression percolating, they stop to investigate its location and what it might be indicating. And often, the detected health issue is not something the Client mentioned prior to the session. The Client may have either forgotten about it, or they aren’t yet aware of it.

If the Practitioner isn’t also a licensed healthcare provider, they’re not allowed to give a medical diagnosis. Therefore, a responsible Practitioner will note the suspect area, and inform the Client that “an energetic disturbance” (without naming it as a specific illness), is felt in a specific area. They will ask if the Client knows of an illness or injury that might exist in that area.

If the Client doesn’t know what the issue is, the Practitioner may suggest they check it out with a licensed healthcare provider. The Practitioner will then give healing to the suspect area, as well as, areas the Client requested be addressed in the session.

Medical Intuition Performed At a Distance

This method of Medical Intuition, is performed at a distance from the Client. I’ve trained in many forms of distance Medical Intuition, and thus have developed a fusion method for connecting to an absent client and scanning them for existing health concerns.

I teach this method to my Reiki Master Teacher students, and quite successfully, I might add. However, due to its proprietary nature, I will not share my distance Medical Intuitive reading method here.

Rest assured, all Medical Intuitives, performing distance Medical Intuition sessions, use some method to connect to their client and scan them from head to toe. And afterward report their findings to their client.

Though it seems impossible, Medical Intuitives can, indeed, pick up accurate psychic impressions about a client’s health, from a distance. They can also feel the same energetic sensations (heat, tingling, pulsing, cold, or fleeting pain) in their hands as if they’re scanning the Client in their presence.

This is where an effective connection to the Client, comes in. This phenomena can be explained by Quantum Psychics’ theory of, “non-local correlation,” when cells at a distance from one another, the Client and the Reader here, successfully link up in a meaningful way.

Keeping a Medical Intuition Journal

It’s important for Medical Intuitives to keep a Journal with a list of the meanings of symbolic impressions their client’s have validated. For when a previously validated symbol is received again while scanning another client, it means the same thing as the first time they received it.

This list of validated symbols is unique to the specific Medical Intuitive, and becomes their psychic vocabulary. And it saves them considerable time, by not needing to re-interpret repeated symbols.

Legal Considerations of Medical Intuition

NOTE: Only licensed healthcare providers are legally allowed to medically diagnose clients in-person.

Scanning the Client in-person – It’s important when scanning a client in-person, Medical Intuitives emphasize they are giving an “energy assessment,” rather than a medical diagnosis. This prevents the misunderstanding of practicing Western medicine without a state board issued physician’s license.

Furthermore, during in-person sessions, when Medical Intuitives speak of sensing something amiss in the Client’s body, they should state they sense the “energy” of illness. Expressing it this way will prevent running into conflict with the local legal authorities. They should then ask the Client what is going on in the area of disturbed energy, rather than state what they believe it to be.

Scanning the Client at a distance – Conversely, when scanning a client at a distance, Medical Intuitives can legally name the illness they are picking up. For distance diagnosis is no longer seen as practicing Western medicine without a license, but rather giving a psychic reading. Still, it’s a good idea, even at a distance, not to alarm the Client by using medical terms. Speaking in energy terms for both in-person and distance Medical Intuitive scanning results is always a safer bet.

The Past and Future of Medical Intuition

C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Neurosurgeon, Pain Medicine Pioneer, Alternative Therapy Researcher and Author, and Founder of the American Journal of Alternative Therapies, and Caroline Myss, Ph.D., Psychotherapist, Spiritual Teacher and Author, and reknowned Medical Intuitive, have done decades of research together, in the field of Medical Intuition. The pair have authored books, and given workshops, both together, and individually, based on their research.

I’ve long lived in Virginia Beach, VA, in the shadow of the late psychic Edgar Cayce (the original Medical Intuitive), and his institute, the Association of Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.). It’s said that of the 14,000 psychic readings Edgar Cayce gave to clients, 10,000 were Medical Intuitive readings.

Due to my close proximity to the A.R.E., I’ve had the good fortune of attending Shealy’s and Myss’s workshops and those of most others with a name in the Medical Intuition field held there.

Shealy and Myss also partnered in founding training programs to turn out competent Medical Intuitives. Subsequently, they established an American Board for Scientific Medical Intuition, to certify their own Medical Intuitive school graduates, as well as other Medical Intuitives, who sit for, and pass the ABSMI Board Exam.

Many other schools and programs for Medical Intuition training have followed, and some are even targeted towards licensed medical healthcare professionals, to enhance their medical diagnostic skills.

It’s clear that Medical Intuition, is here to stay, for a quick inquiry on the internet, turns up pages of listings for professional Medical Intuitives, and this list will only grow exponentially, in the future.
