Remote Viewing, aka “psychic spying,” is a technique formerly used by an infamous U.S.military program of “psychic spies” sponsored by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). This scientifically developed technique was initially used to collect viable data, incognito, regarding perceived U.S. enemies.
Furthermore, the Remote Viewing program spanned many years with various volunteer U.S. military participants in various revamped versions. And though once classified as “Top Secret,” with defunding and subsequent dismantling of the program, it was eventually declassified. Consequently, after military retirement, several volunteer participants have divulged program details and personal experiences in their published books on the topic.
Remote Viewing Defined
Defined, Remote Viewing is gathering details about a target (person, location, object, or event) at a distance from the Viewer. And importantly, the Viewer has no access to the target’s details by traditional channels. In other words, the Viewer is not given an image or description of any kind relating to the target they are viewing. Consequently, the Viewer transcends space and time to view the target and record their findings.
Notably, the term “viewing” is used loosely here. For the Remote Viewer may use more than just extrasensory seeing (clairvoyance) to gain details about the target. They may also use extrasensory hearing (clairaudience), feeling (clairsentience), tasting (clairgustance), smelling (clairaliance), or knowing (claircognizance), etc.
Furthermore, it’s important we not confuse the Remote Viewing technique with “Astral Travel (out of body experiences). For Astral travel is performed lying down reaching a deep altered state with the “body asleep, but mind awake.” Then the traveler’s “astral body” exits its physical body and travels to the target and looks down upon it.
In contrast, Remote Viewing is performed sitting upright awake in a light altered state while still able to draw and analyze ideograms related to the target.
Remote Viewing’s Illustrious History
Remote Viewing’s history is too convoluted, with various program titles, directors, and funding agencies for us to cover all in this post. Therefore, the below is but a general summary hitting the highlights. For a thorough historical accounting see David Morehouse, Ph.D’s book, Remote Viewing: The Complete User’s Manual for Coordinate Remote Viewing, https://a.co/d/18CUKxa.
Stanford Research Institute (SRI) laser scientists Russell Targ, Ph.D and Harold Puthoff, Ph.D were tasked with experimentation to determine if Remote Viewing could be performed. To this end, They recruited a known psychic, Ingo Swann as their first test subject. Since Swann was successful in gleaning details of remote targets, they then established a protocol to train non-psychic military personnel to Remote View.
The CIA’s First Psychic Spy
Joseph McMoneagle was the first non-psychic military volunteer Remote Viewer in the government sponsored program. In fact, his accurate target details ensured the validity of the skill and the need for the program to be established. Subsequently, other participants were recruited. And the SRI scientists were put in charge of conducting the Remote Viewing training and research exercises.
The Monroe Institute
The most important skill needed for Remote Viewing is the ability to reach and sustain deep meditative states. Therefore early program participants were enrolled in The Monroe Institute (TMI) Gateway Program. At TMI’s Virginia location, they trained in reaching alpha brainwave states quickly using TMI’s patented binaural sound technology.
Although participating in TMI’s programs often lead to out of body experiences, this was not the focus of the Remote Viewers’ training. Rather, the intention was only that Remote Viewers acquire the ability to reach and sustain alpha brainwave states. And once the skill was obtained, the technology was no longer necessary.
As a side note, during his tenure at TMI, McMoneagle became romantically involved with and later married TMI’s founder Robert Monroe’s daughter.
The Coordinate Remote Viewing Technique
Coordinate Remote Viewing (CRV) uses targets that are identified only by their assigned coordinate number with no other identifying details. Therefore, Remote Viewers must use the precise step-by-step remote viewing process to mine details about the targets they are given.
After psychic, Ingo Swann’s success, it was soon revealed that non-psychic military personnel could be trained to perform remote viewing successfully. Remote Viewers were initially trained in reaching an alpha brainwave state in order to access the subconscious mind and innate extrasensory perception. Then they learned a precise method of recording perceived Target data.
7 Remote Viewing Ideograms
Remote viewing uses 7 specific ideograms similar to a shorthand system of squiggles drawn on paper. Each ideogram represents a specific type of data, i.e., space, water, natural, manmade, biologic, or motion/energy. And the Viewer has engrained into their subconscious each ideogram they personally use to represent each data type and may add to the 7. This is much like a personal psychic shorthand.
Remote Viewing’s Similarity to Automatic Writing
After the Remote Viewer is given a target to view, they write down the target’s coordinate (assigned number) on unlined paper. Then, they will quickly unconsciously draw an unbroken string of ideogram squiggles adjacent to the target’s coordinate number. This, I find similar to automatic writing. Automatic writing is when one subconsciously free writes messages from a source outside of their own conscious mind.
Next, the Viewer will methodically determine details about the target from each single ideogram of their squiggled string of ideograms. First, they will determine which data types are included in the drawn squiggle. Next, they will run their finger over each ideogram to determine areas of smoothness, roughness, hardness, softness, wetness, etc.
Then, all data mined from the ideograms are recorded in a precise consistent and lengthy manner. Which to my mind, is nothing short of tedious with a capital T!
How Does Remote Viewed Info Differ From Psychically Attained Info
Without question, Remote Viewing and receiving a target’s information psychically achieves the same goal. However, where Remote Viewing is based on science requiring a complex lengthy process, psychic impressions are quick and organic.
Moreover, due to its precise and tedious steps recorded on paper, Remote Viewing is demonstrable. Conversely, psychic impressions are a subjective and untraceable flash of insight received by the recipient.
Nonetheless, during my personal Remote Viewing training my thoughts kept flowing to, why not just get the target details psychically? Which is a much quicker and easier process.
Practical Uses for Remote Viewing
Talented Remote Viewers today can find paid employment involving such activites as:
- Government intelligence gathering
- Criminal investigation evidence gathering
- Court case evidence gathering
- Locating sought after resources in mining operations
- Corporate competitor spying
Final Words on Remote Viewing – AKA Psychic Spying
Remote Viewing training programs assert that with commitment and perseverance to training, anyone can master Remote Viewing. And I can testify to that assertion.
During my first try at Remote Viewing, I was given a target number with no image or description. As instructed, I quickly and absent-mindedly squiggled a line of ideograms. Then, after drawing and analyzing my string of ideograms, I was shown the target’s image. It was a hill sloping down to a sandy shoreline and then to water in a harbor.
I was amazed that without knowledge of the target, I had squiggled a string of ideograms for land descending to water. I even felt the roughness of the sandy shore area with my finger. Additionally, I got made-made items were present that turned out to be boats in the harbor.
Although a slow and cumbersome form of divination, I found Remote Viewing quickly attainable. And I’m certain you can master it as well. As always, thank you for reading.
